Writing is good for the soul

Miranda Flairgold is the penname I use when writing for an online audience. I write fanfiction, currently all of it of the Harry Potter variety. I write novel-length works, and I always write in series, usually trilogies. I enjoy writing about almost anything and I hope to someday become a published author. I am currently at work on my first original novel and I use fanfiction as a way to test my ideas. I find that I can work out inconsistencies and problems better in wirtten form then I can in my head, and I have found that having people commenting on my work helps me to review and plan for my original novels. Because I am using ideas that will later be used in my published work I don't use a beta. Since most of my original ideas will be in my eventual novel I ask that anyone who wishes to copy them do so only in fanfiction, and mention where you got it from.

This website was created for my most recent trilogy. Nothing from my older fanfiction is posted here. My current work is an AU trilogy part one is called A Second Chance at Life. This was completed in July 2006. I am now in the middle of part two Changes in a Time of War. On this website is a list of original characters, plants/animals, magics, and places.
